Country Threads – a unique quilt shop in Iowa

This is a MADE IN AMERICA Camp!  Join a small group of quilters in our comfortable classroom for 3 days of sewing, chatting, eating, shopping and fun.  We will cover new projects from Country Threads with designated class meeting times 3 times a day.  We’ll eat at our local restaurants for most meals and Mary will make brunch at her house on Sunday.  Break up our long cold winter with a warm weekend at Country Threads!  Camp Fee: $64.00

Annual Bolt Sale starts Tuesday, February 14, 2012 and continues through the month of February.  All sale fabric will be $5.00 per yard.  Be here early for the best selection in either building.  There will be 1/2 yd. minimum cut.

Connie will teach you the basics of rotary cutting, sewing a perfect 1/4″ seam and piecing a traditional quilt. Bring your own sewing machine, ruler, cutting board and rotary cutter to class.  This is a 2 part class.  The first part is held January 28, 2012. The second part is held on February 18, with homework in between sessions. Class fee: $25.00, includes pattern for Lucky Stars Quilt. Call for details and to register.
