Welcome
to Country Threads, a world class quilt shop located in a
renovated chicken coop and one of North Iowa's premier shopping
destinations. We have been designing primitive
quilt patterns since 1983. That's over 20 years and since
establishing Country Threads, we have seen many trends in
patchwork
quilting patterns come and go. Now our web site is a new
avenue to share our country life, pets, gardens and quilt
camps along with the newest quilt patterns, patchwork kits
and news from the farm. Welcome!
Our
quilt shop has grown over the years to include all supplies
needed to make a quilt. Meet our manager, Mary Baker, and
our staff who are busy giving friendly expert advice. They
are also cutting your kits, packing and mailing your orders,
machine quilting your quilts, stocking the Barn in the Back
with primitive gifts and they even have time to give the dogs
and cats a treat.
If you can't
visit Country Threads in person, please shop online to get
the newest patchwork
quilting patterns and fabric patchwork kits. Don't forget
to sign up for our free e-mail newsletter so you can keep
up with what's new in the shop. We also publish a newsletter
by subscription, The Goat Gazette, 5 times a year. This newspaper
contains pictures of our quilting family, free patterns -
patchwork quilting patterns, new stuff and gossip from the
farm.
Come
back often, our door is always open and the light is always
on!
